We have had many people calling and emailing asking if Dearl is touring and still doing Music.

First let us respond by saying, Dearl is going to serve the Lord until his very last breath, singing and in any other way God leads him to.

So yes Dearl is still singing and already has the music recorded and songs chosen for a new CD.

However God led Dearl to start a new Cowboy Church in late 2009. To start the church and fulfill the needs of the church, Dearl has had to stop touring temporarily, until the church is established and can allow him to travel.

Once he can travel again Dearl plans on recording his third CD, then he will continue to Pastor the church full time and travel every once in a while on special occasions to continue the music ministry, as well as releasing music via radio.

He honestly has only just begun with the music ministry and the church, but the church is his priority and providing loving Pastoral care to the church and the members is where God has him spending his time these day’s and obedience to God is the only goal in Dearl’s life.

His future plans, if it is God’s will, is to remain the Pastor of the Cowboy Church he started and travel maybe once or twice a quarter to promote the music, releasing a new single once every few months to also promote the music and to promote the church through the music, glorifying God through it all.

So please continue to keep Dearl Hardy Ministries in your prayers, our goal is to glorify God Only.

Dearl Hardy, out of Brownwood, Texas has been thru a lot in his life. Hardy is an honest, humble man who has fought a lot of battles, but they have drawn him closer to the Lord and his wife and two daughters. Most Sunday mornings, you'll find him somewhere, opening up a Church Service with his inspirational songs. Honestly, I'll say that this is one of the most inspiring discs that I have heard this year.

   Hardy sent me a disc last year and asked me what I thought. I said, it's a real bad production that takes away from the songs and vocals, it is full of distortion and noise, to my surprise he said, finally, an honest person. Usually, when I tell someone something like that, they get mad.

   Hardy had his first CD "Dearl Hardy" re-mastered and it ended up sounding pretty great as well.

   Hardy has really grown as a vocalist; his vocals are anointed, like a gift from God. This CD titled “One Cross Three Nails” has been a real encouragement for me. There is no comparison between his first disc and this new one. His new CD “One Cross Three Nails” is a polished jewel. It is sparse, but the musicians and the mix and the overall tone is special. Recorded, Produced by Dave Powelson at his studio in Goodlettsville, Tenn. What is in the front is Hardy's anointed vocals with great backup vocals. Mastered by Randall Merryman of Nashville, who has a special talent for mastering and used to work as a recording engineer with the Marshall Tucker Band.

   Other musicians include Jamey Whiting/piano, Larry Crew/bass, Mark Beckett/drums, Mike Jones/steel and Dobro and Powelson on all guitars.

   The overall sound is warm and the acoustic guitars shimmer. I love the bass of Crew and also the tight punch he gets out of it. Hardy has gotten a great selection of songs here.

   The title track "One Cross, Three Nails" is written by Jim and Wanda Disney, a co-writer with Kim Williams who wrote "Three Wooden Crosses" for Randy Travis. The song is a warm acoustic tune, with Hardy's deep rich vocals, reminding me a bit of Alan Jackson. The hook in this song is great. So is the Dobro and piano. I like the live sound. Hardy really does this justice, it is so special.

   Another song that really moves me is Vern Gosdin's "If Jesus Comes Tomorrow". The words speak volumes. Great pedal steel. Real nice back up vocals. Nice acoustic country gospel song.

   "Mercy River" (Disney’s) is a more upbeat gospel song. Hardy's inflections are great, can't believe this is the same guy from last years CD, just so much growth. Real good piano on this tune.

   Well, honestly all recordings have flaws; this one is it is just not long enough. But, sometimes, it's good to leave the listener wanting to hear more. Need your faith stirred? Need some great Christian country music? Check out Dearl Hardy.

A New CD Project Announced!!!

Dearl Hardy has announced he is currently working on a brand new project in Nashville that will be released in the very near future. No official release date has been announced.

This project is a little different than the other two. It is more Radio ready positive country and will be released to major market radio. This new CD will also have some powerful Christian Country music on it as well. This theme of this project focuses on God, Country, and Family and will feature country music on around ten of the tracks and Christian Country on approximately three tracks. That is just opposite of Dearl's past projects he has released.

Dearl reassures us that he is not changing his focus from serving God by saying, "I will serve God in everything I do, and everything I do is all for His glory. I just thought I could get the good news of the Gospel out to more people if we broadened our fan base by reaching out to the regular country fans. I mean after all, the wonderful people that enjoy country music are believers anyway's, just like myself, and most love to hear a good Christian country song as much as they do a great country song, so why not put both on the same CD so they can have the best of both worlds with one purchase." That is just what he is doing on this project.

The songs have are variety of styles ranging from some southern rock, Country blues, rocking country, patriotic, traditional country and those amazing love ballads that Dearl will melt your heart and soul with as you feel his powerful delivery and than of course some Christian country that will change your life and convict your heart, as you hear the true gospel ripping through your spirit and soul.

Every song is positive and all for Gods glory. Dearl said, "I think everyone will really enjoy this project when we get it finished. It has some of the best written songs that I have heard in many years in country music. I am working with some incredible song writers in Nashville to get these songs. I cannot wait to get the CD finished and out for everyone to hear. We are really proud of it. We really pray that everyone likes it as much as we believe they will."

We do not have a release date yet, but the word we hear is that it will be released sometime early 2010, with the first single released to Country and Christian radio just prior to the CD release date.

He's Back!!!

Dearl had taken the past year or so off for personal health reason's and has now hit the stage once again to perform that amazing positive country sound that touched so many lives. Dearl will be more selective about his schedule, and where he performs because of other obligations that he now has being the pastor of the Heart of Texas Cowboy Church in Early, Texas.

He vows that he will not neglect the church in any way nor will he neglect his music fans, working to reach a balance of the two, praying that music will build the church and the church will promote the music, all for the glory of God. "It's all about God anyway," Dearl says, "So it doesn't matter if I am singing or preaching, it is all for the glory of God. Every breath I take, or every step I make, is all for His glory! It's all about Him! That is our slogan at our church and with the music." Dearl said, "God has done so many wonderful things in my life, now all I want to do is serve Him in every possible way that He will allow me to."

So at this moment, Dearl says, "God has lead me to pastor the Heart of Texas Cowboy Church, and to sing anywhere I have the opportunity when I can do so without taking away from the pastorate position at church. I will be releasing singles to radio again starting in the very near future and I hope my music is as well received as it has been in the past after taking time off. And as long as the wonderful friends and fans continue to like what they hear from me, I will continue to serve Him in every way I can."
